Can I share something? I don’t enjoy talking about myself, but I realise you might want to know a bit about me, especially if we haven’t met yet. So, hi, hello! My name is Sarah (she/her). It’s nice to e-meet you.

I’ve spent my career building and scaling people operations within companies, and coaching growth-minded individuals to optimise their impact, intentionally.

To give you a sense of who I am and what I bring to my work:

Loved ones describe me as perceptive, curious, principled, and intentional, and that’s how I show up at work, in parenting, and at play. I’m passionate about working with purpose-driven people who are deeply committed to their growth and development.

My experience:
With 19 years in the People (HR) space, I’ve worked primarily with tech startups and scale-ups, as well as with companies across industries like architecture, telco, entertainment, F&B, and more. I hold a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. Fun fact: I completed my degree part-time while working full-time at Atlassian as their second-ever HR hire and had the privilege of helping to shape their people frameworks while advising leaders at all levels.

My approach:

My approach, whether coaching or consulting, is people-first, strengths-based, and holistic, grounded in a growth mindset. I follow the Radical Candour model of caring personally, challenging directly when sharing feedback or discussing difficult issues. About this people say I am “strong, yet soft, displaying both assertiveness and empathy.”

I’m passionate about finding ways to live a low-fi life in today’s fast-paced digital world. I love hiking, reading, and enjoying delicious food. My personal motto is ‘travel slowly, eat often’, and I have a strict no-sharing-desserts policy.
